1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
1 tablespoon (15 mL) cornstarch
1 prepared graham cracker crumb crust (9 oz.)
1 package (250g) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup (50 mL) sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon (2 mL) almond extract
1/2 teaspoon (2 mL) vanilla extract
1/2 cup (125 mL) CHIPITS® Semi Sweet Baking Chips
1. Heat oven to 350°F (180°C).
2. Stir together pie filling and cornstarch in medium bowl until blended; pour into crust.
3. Beat cream cheese, sugar, eggs and extracts; pour evenly over pie filling. Sprinkle CHIPITS Semi-Sweet chips evenly over top.
4. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until almost set in centre. Cool completely on wire rack. Refrigerate until firm. Cover; refrigerate leftover pie.
